First let me say that I am truly sorry for your loss. Ernest would have been my first cousin. Ernest Jr's dad Ernest was my fathers brother. My dads name was Henry Burgos Sr.

I am so sorry that after many months of looking for my dads side of the family I find that they are leaving us one by one. I wish I would have met Ernest Jr. Again sorry for the loss of the Burgos family.

Ernie willbe missed by many . I worked with him at the Sands Casino on Grave Shift, 11pm to 7am.. I remember him taking me out in our Mobile and training me... While riding in some dark areas of the Casino... We laughed and joked while on Patrol. I am so glad to have trained with him. He spoke many times about his Bus Job in NY... He also is a Military Veteran like me. It doesn't. Matter what Branch we were Brothers that Served to protect our Country. Thanks for doing so my Veteran Bud... I can also rememberbeing invited to his house after he retired.. Myself and another Security Officer named Fred Miles had so much fun thatday just reminiscing a out anythingand everything... You will be missed by Your Security Officers like me that worked with You. All that knew you were so glad to be part of your life and the memories we made.... Your Friend and Co Worker LYLE..

I worked with Ernie at the Sands as a part of the Black Sheep Grave Shift Squad. Ernie would do anything and everything for anyone no matter what the request. He never failed to send an e-mail or call for a holiday after he left the Sands. He will be missed by many and loved forever by all that knew him. The Brezina Family will keep him and his family in our thoughts. I will miss you Ernie. Much Love. The Brezinas.

Remembering the great times we had working grave shift at the Sands, the side splitting laughter and Ernie's classic stories about life and work in New York City. Ernie was one of a kind. It was an honor to have known him and call him my friend. My deepest sympathy to his entire family.

Remembering all of the nights at the Sands on grave shift....the side splitting laughs and classic stories about Ernie's bus driving career and other New York adventures. Never forget the good times at Ernie's house with Meyers. He was a great guy who will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure to have known Ernie and called him my friend. I worked with Ernie at the Sands on 3rd shift back in 2011 and I really felt bad when he left. He was one great guy who would give the shirt off his back for his fellow officer. I always got a greeting at any holiday from him. My heart goes out to his family !!!!! He will be sadly missed !!!!!!!!!! God bless his family !!!!!!!!
