William C Johnson

William “Bill” Charles Johnson, 79, of Whitehall, PA passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022 with many of his family members by his side at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown, PA.  William was one of five children born to the late Donald U. and Florence (Rissmiller) Johnson.  He was the beloved husband of Sandra I. (De Bonita) Johnson with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. 
Immediately upon graduating from Liberty High School, Class of 1960, William enlisted into the United States Navy from 1960-1964 where he was honorably discharged.  William worked at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for over 35.  He also work for Rexroth Corporation for 12 years before retiring in 2008. 
William enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing golf and bowling. 
Lovingly known as “Dad” and “Pop Pop”, William will be missed dearly by his sons Gondon Scott Johnson of Whitehall, PA and Donald William Johnson and partner Russ Felton of Center Valley, PA, daughter Lori Ann Demetrovics of Whitehall, PA; grandchildren Tyler, Randall and Reese Johnson and Victoria Demetrovics; many nieces and nephews. 
William was predeceased by his 2 sisters Betty (Johnson) Stuber and Shirley (Johnson) Frantz and 2 brother Ronald and Richard Johnson.

Services are private.
