Sandra Ramos

Sandra (Sandy) Ramos, born on June 11, 1955 has gone to be with the Lord on December 30, 2019 at the age of 64. She battled illness bravely and was a lifetime resident of Stroudsburg, PA.  She is survived by her sister Maria Ramos of Stroudsburg, Mrs. Minnie Davis of South Carolina and extended family and friends. 

Sandra graduated from Pocono Mt. High School in 1973, she furthered he education with a Bachelors from Cornell in 1977 and a Masters in Social Work from New York University in 1980.  Sandra worked for the Pocono Tourism Center at the Monroe County Courthouse and in New York City for the Sate as a social worker for 25 years, retiring in 2005.

She maintained a spiritual fellowship at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and the Pocono Bible Church.

She was known for her laughter and smile and enjoyed the outdoors.  Sandra will be dearly missed by family, friends and church members.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday at 11AM in East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church 83 S. Courtland Street East Stroudsburg, PA.  Viewing begins at 10AM.  Interment will follow services in Stroudsburg Cemetery.
