Juanita T Harvey

Juanita T. Harvey, 35, of Allentown, PA passed away September 15, 2023 at home.  Born on July 10, 1988 in Newark, New Jersey she was the daughter of Elliott Lowman and Heather Felt-Albert.  

OBITUARY
Ms. Juanita T. Harvey, affectionately known as “Nita”, was a soft-spoken caring woman who always
had a beautiful smile. Nita loved to travel, always willing to go to new places and enjoy great food.
Those trips were even better when she could convince her sisters to drive so that she could get some
sleep there and back. Juanita had a great sense of humor, her jokes were corny, but she always made
you laugh. Nita had a mind of her own. She was not swayed by other people’s impressions of her. If
she was a little late to an event, you just had to remember, that’s just Nita. However, you could always
count on Juanita to be there when you called her. Whatever you shared with her was always a secret
kept. You never had to worry about Nita judging you for what you said or did. Juanita loved her family.
What she cared about and for, more than anything else in this world was her daughter Janya. She was
not shy when it came to bragging about her pride and joy. She was the perfect older sister. Always
looking for ways to let her siblings shine. Nita was loyal to her family and her friends. When it was
time to relax you could find her playing bingo or watching her favorite show, Power.
Juanita’s service to others extended beyond her family and friends. Juanita volunteered as an assistant
in the Living Waters’ children’s church. All over the city of Allentown, Juanita left her mark as a
volunteer with community outreach programs and in nursing homes with her mother, Heather Felt-
Albert.
A graduate of William Allen High School and the McCann School of Business and Technology, Juanita
used her knowledge and skills as a customer service representative with several firms across the city
of Allentown. Whether at home or work, what Nita enjoyed most was helping others. Even helping her
sister Janelle launch her own business.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her daughter, Janya Harvey; her mother, Heather Felt-
Albert; her father, Elliot Lowman, Jr. Her siblings, Janelle Harvey, Jawaun Felt-Albert, Jalonda Felt-
Albert, and Elliot E. Lowman, III. Her great-grandmother, Bessie Mae Hunter; her grandparents, Joyce
Lowman, Elliot Lowman, Sr, Ledina Ladson, and Hayward Harvey. Her great-aunt, Hollis Hunter; her
great-uncles William Hunter, Jr. (and family); Shelton Hunter (and family). Her uncles, Clay Hunter,
Thomas Lowman, and Tyrone Lowman. She also leaves behind her extended family, the Hollis’.
Juanita was blessed with a whole host of other relatives and friends from all over the country who have
the fondest memories of a wonderful young woman who left us too soon.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday September 23, 2023 at 11:30AM in Ebenezer New Reformed Church 3221 Bingen Road, Bethlehem, PA .  Viewing begins at 10:30AM.
