Rudolph Adolphus Coppin of Brooklyn, NY passed away August 9, 2019 at the New Eastwood Nursing Center-Easton, PA, after a 3 month illness. He was born on February 12, 1938 in Sargeants Village, Barbados but spent most of his adult life in Jamaica.
Rudolph otherwise called "Lal" was a retired Warrant Office from the Jamaica Defense Force after 25 years of service. He received the Jamaica Independence Medal and Medal of Honor for Meritorious Service.
He leaves to mourn his passing: Wife, Dorrit Coppin of Stewartsville, NJ, 8 children, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of sisters, brothers, aunts, extended family and friends both here and abroad.
FUNERAL SERVICES will take place on Thursday at 6PM in Green Pond United Methodist Church 4411 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA 18045. VIEWING begins at 5PM.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 17th at 4PM in Duryea Presbyterian Church 362 Sterling Place, Brooklyn, NY
