Neil E. Beehrle

Neil E. Beehrle, 77, of Allentown, passed away on May 5 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. Neil was the husband of Ida Mae Beehrle and they celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary last June. Born in Allentown, Neil was the son of the late Harry and Anna Beehrle. Neil proudly served in the Navy from 1958 to 1964 as an airman on the USS Hancock and the USS Shangri-La. Neil was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He loved life, and loved to have fun, especially spending time with his family. He loved shooting at the range with his grandchildren and was a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Surviving with his beloved wife Ida Mae is his son, Allen Beehrle, and daughters Brenda Scheller, Pamela Stokes, wife of Duane Stokes and Kimberly Lewis, wife of Samuel Lewis. Sisters: Janet Tuskey, and Margaret Buskaritz. Neil's grandchildren are: Melissa, wife of Leo Santiago; Nichole, Allen, and Neil Beehrle; Andy Scheller; Katie-Lynn, Michael and Kyle Beidler; Santino Martinez; Brittany and Zackary Stokes; Shakera, wife of Aron Gilbert, Jocelynn, wife of Jesus Rodriguez; Danielle and Gabby Lewis. His great-grandchildren are; Alyssa, Jasmine, Leo, Connor, Gavin, Cheyanne, Myles, Myah, Kyle Jr., Jurnee, Cora Jae, Leylanie, Brayden and Avalynn. Additionally, he is survived by sister-in-laws Deborah Haas of Allentown and Barbara Kline of St. Petersburg, Fla. Another sister-in-law, Nancy Groller, died in December. A viewing will be held 11am to 12:30pm Thursday, May 10 at Judd-Beville Funeral Home, 1314 Hamilton St., Allentown PA 18102. Services begin at 12:30pm. Burial at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown will follow the services.
