Rebecca J Jacobs

Rebecca  J. Jacobs,  62, of Allentown,  passed away on December 8, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born on March 8, 1952, she was the loving companion of Daniel Miller of Allentown and the daughter of the late Theralyn and Edgar Haas of Wescosville. 
Rebecca was a social worker for Lehigh County Mental Health/Mental Retardation and for Treatment Trends in Allentown.  She touched many lives and was dedicated to the people she helped over the years. She also worked for Mack Trucks in Allentown. 
Rebecca was an avid animal lover and had many furry companions over the years.
Rebecca’s survivors include daughters, Jody Jacobs, Jaime Jacobs; and grandsons Alex and Deisel, all of Allentown; brother Thomas Caton and his wife Sydney of Slatington; brother David Haas and his wife  Sandee of Allentown; brother Franklin and his wife Sandy of Maryland; and sister Jill Clayson and companion Mickey Halper of New Tripoli; eleven nieces and nephews and thirteen great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary (Sue) Sterner. 

Services will take place at 2PM Saturday in the Funeral Home.  Call from 1-2PM Saturday.  Interment will be private with the family.
