Irwin M Judd, 89, of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed from Labor to Reward in his residence. Born on June 23, 1927 in Scranton, Pennsylvania he was the son of the Late Jack Judd and Ethel (Lenowitz). Irwin proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Veteran of WW II. After leaving the army Irwin returned to Scranton and enrolled in classes at the University of Scranton later graduating with a Masters in History. He was a 1952 graduate of the Eckels College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia, PA. In 1954 he founded the Former Irwin M. Judd Funeral Home in Scranton, and then in Allentown, PA. He was the owner of Judd Wholesale Products and for over 40 years traveled extensively over the Northern and Eastern Section of the United States. Irwin also founded the former I.M. Judd Advertising Agency in Allentown.
Mr. Judd will be lovingly remembered for his giving spirit and his loving nature toward people from all walks of life. He LOVED to talk and share stories about his time in the Army. He was a member and past Commander of the War Veterans Association in West Allentown, the Valley of Scranton Free and Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, the National Funeral Directors Association, and Temple Beth-El.
Public Services will take place on Saturday at 7:30PM in the Funeral Home. Viewing begins at 6PM.
A prayer service will be held on Monday at 11:30AM. Interment with full Military Honors will take place at 2PM in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
