Edith Gray

Edith Gray, 78, of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away February 26, 2017 at home.

Mrs. Edith Mae Gray-Hubbart also known as Eddy Mae was born and raised in Selma, Alabama to the last Willie Gray and Evelyn Wheeler. 
She moved to New York City in the early 1960's. She worked several different jobs and wore several hats but she retired from the Salvation Army in 2003.
Mrs. Gray was best for her southern cooking. Everyone loved her cooking, especially for her collard greens. She was straight forward and to the point but she was well loved by everyone she came in contact with. 
She preceded in death by her late husband B. Hubbart, her daughter, Louise (Wezzie) Hubbart, her grandson, Rashan Williams, stepson, Leroy Hubbart 
Edith leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Ernest Gray, Allentown, PA, four daughters, Ava Gardner, New York, Sharon Gray, New York, Cynthia Gray, New York, Anndrina Gray, Allentown, PA, a daughter from another mother, Larrie McRinna, two daughter-in-laws, Donna Walker-Gray and Terri Holley
Stepchildren: Mary, Nathan, Delores, Elliott, Ray, Gerald 
Grandchildren: Cyniqua, Sheteya, Jason, Rasael, Eshawn, Carlito, Davon, Eshawnay, Nishae, Kasheem, Rasheem, Danzel
Great-grands: Zaynai, Kashious, Royal, Noah, Skyla, Noel, Savion
Special friends: Mamie, Veronica, Sandra, David, Rebecca and host of family and friends. 
 

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday at 4PM in the Funeral Home.  Viewing begins at 3PM.
