Domingo Ortiz, Jr.

Domingo Ortiz, Jr., 57, of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away November 15, 2016 at home. Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico he was the son of Domingo Ortiz, Sr. and the late Anna (Rentas). He is survived by his Father Domingo Sr. along with His brothers Carlos, Raul, Reynaldo, Edgar and sister Brenda Ortiz, five children (William, Annette, Melinda, Elisa and Donovan), His nine grandchildren (Brianna, Christian, Andrew, Timothy, Allie, Juliana, Marissa, Laela and Ian), and numerous neices and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother Anna Rentas and Brother Armando Ortiz. Domingo was an avid fisher and life long sports enthusiast. After moving from Puerto Rico with his family he was a resident of Philadelphia for many years. He spent most of his days enjoying what he loved most watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music. 

Viewing and Services will take place on Sunday in the Funeral Home from 11AM-1PM.  Interment will be private with the family.
