Arnold H Belz

      Arnold H. "Rudy" Belz, Jr, 88, died on March 1, 2015 in Allentown, PA.
 
          Rudy was born in Altoona, PA on October 4, 1926; son of Arnold H. Belz, Sr. and Ruth (Devore) Belz.  He married Betty A. Mench on September 1, 1951, in Altoona.  He graduated from Altoona High School in 1944.  He served with the 411th Infantry, U.S. Army in WW II in Europe and was honorably discharged in 1946. He retired from Mid State Bank (M&T) in 1989 after 37 years of service.  He was a 60 year member of the Hiram Lodge No. 616 Free and Accepted Masons, the Tall Cedars, and the Jaffa Shrine. 
 
          He is survived by his wife and 4 children; Elizabeth Padgett of Fredrickburg, VA, Marcia Colpan and her husband, Umit "Jon" of Allentown, PA, Richard Belz of Altoona, PA, Arnold Belz and his wife, Kelly of Saegertown, PA, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Bonnie (Craw) Belz. 
 
       A Memorial Service will be held March 8, 2015, at 3:00PM at the Days Hotel, 3400 Airport Road, Allentown, PA, 18109.
