Alshareef A Abner

Alshareef “Congo Reef” Abner was born on September 20, 1982 in Plainfield, New Jersey.  He attended Plainfield school systems where he met many friends  of which he maintained strong bonds with including those in Liberty Village Community Center.  Congo loved his daughters and ha d a tight bond with Zytajsha “Smody” there was not a day that went by where he didn’t facetime or speak with her.  He loved spending time with daughters and family.  Alshareef worked as a youth counselor at the Hannah Atkins Summer Camp in Plainfield, NJ.  Alshareef moved his life to better opportunities with his Mother, brother and Sisters to Allentown, PA, where he worked as a forklift operator.   Alshareef departed this life on July 18, 2015 in St. Lukes University Hospital-Allentown.  He is survived by his parents Stephanie Abner and Alonzo Roach, Step father, Curtis, Daughters, Zytajsha  and Jeneia Abner, brothers. Thomas Jefcoat and Tywon Abner, Sisters, Zenaida Garner, Mia McCray and Diesha Roach,  grandmother, Audrey McNair, long time special friend Shawnta “Stink” Jones and a host of extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by brother, Alquan Garner and grandmother Lucille Abner.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday at 11AM in the Funeral Home.  Viewing begins at 10AM.
